Updates motion from 14.4.0 to 14.6.0

Changelog

Sourced from motion's changelog.

[14.6.0] 2026-10-22

Added

  • Reorder: Grab-and-move keyboard reordering.
  • processFrame: Manually process the frameloop at t.
  • stepFrames: For tests, synchronously advance frameloop time by duration.

Fixed

  • Improved tree-shaking.
  • motion: Fix layoutId elements jumping in some situations.
  • Reorder: Make auto-scroll speed independent of refresh rate.
  • drag: Fix animations when disabling drag from within onDrag.
  • Fix shared layout animations applying an element's own scale/x/y twice.
  • Fix replaying mount animation when an element takes over a layoutId.
  • motion: Fix updating SVG styles.
  • useTransform: Improving value resolution.

[14.5.0] 2026-10-20

Added

  • scopeMotion/useScopeMotion: Scope animations and gestures to set default transitions, specify root elements, match media, and easy cleanup.
  • Reorder: Pass moved to onReorder as second argument.

Fixed

  • drag: With direction lock, apply the move that sets the lock. Before, a fast drag released in that frame didn't move.
  • press: Improve cleanup of keyboard accessibility events.
  • Reorder: Stop double-counting window scroll during drag.
  • motion: Ensure we animate from the latest props when parent Activity is made visible.
  • useInView: Observe ref if contents change after mount.

Updates react-resizable-panels from 4.14.6 to 4.15.0

Release notes

Sourced from react-resizable-panels's releases.

4.15.0

  • Add useParentGroup, useParentPanel, and useParentGrid hooks. Components rendered within a Group, Panel, or Grid can use them to access the nearest one (including its imperative API) without passing refs down; they return null outside of a matching component. Within a Cell, useParentGroup returns the nearest Group outside of the Grid. - #775
  • Imperative Panel and GridTrack resize(), collapse(), and expand() calls (and double-clicking a separator to reset a panel's size) now take space from, or give it to, the nearest panels that can absorb it, on either side of the panel being resized. Previously only the panels on one side were used, starting with the adjacent panel, so these calls could silently do nothing (e.g. when the next panel was collapsed) or unexpectedly collapse or expand other panels. Changes that don't collapse or expand other panels are now preferred. - #774
  • expand() still restores a panel's most recent size, but if that would require collapsing another panel, it now expands to the largest size that fits instead (as long as that's at least its minSize). - #774
  • Fix releasing the pointer after dragging the boundary between panels that don't have a Separator "clicking" the element under the pointer (e.g. a button in a panel header). - #774

4.14.8

  • Fix "Stacking order can only be calculated for elements with a common ancestor" error thrown by the document pointermove handler when the event target is removed from the DOM during dispatch. Detached targets are now treated as viable hit targets. - #771
  • Fix Group and Grid setLayout() and Panel resize(), collapse(), and expand() validating against pixel-based constraints for the previous group size when called before the group's ResizeObserver ran (e.g. from an application's own ResizeObserver). - #770

4.14.7

  • Improve mount performance for groups with many panels by skipping redundant constraint recalculations and subscriber notifications when a Panel's disabled prop has not changed. - #768

I looked through these: lucide-react 1.61, motion 14.6, react-resizable-panels 4.15 and electron-builder 26.18, all minor or patch bumps.

  • The react-resizable-panels behaviour change only affects the imperative resize/collapse/expand API, and nothing imports our resizable.tsx wrapper right now.
  • motion's layoutId fixes touch theme-mode-switch.tsx, and E2E passed.
  • The electron-builder releases are backported fixes in NSIS differential, snap and pnpm paths that our config doesn't use.

CI is fully green, including desktop E2E (63/63) and packaging on all three OSes. Good to merge. Heads up: #755 will need a Dependabot rebase afterwards, since both touch the same lines.
